About me

Dongyoung Kim, PhD

Education

Dongyoung Kim (dongyoung@tamu.edu) was born in Daegu, South Korea. He received the B.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea, and the University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, Texas, USA., in 2012. He received the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, USA. His research interests lie in the fields of the development of imaging approaches for single molecules and image processing of microscopy data.

Research

My research interests focus on image processing, advanced microscopy development and anti-cancer drug discovery. These three different areas unified and get a synergy to boost the cancer research!

PREVIOUS WORK

I was a member of KNU webzine, South Korea and worked as a photographer and webmaster. I've been working as freelancer web designer.
I was a member of the Center for Embedded Software Technology (CEST), South Korea, as software / hardware development support.
I worked for EOS Australia, Australia, as a web application developer / product designer.
